LuckyBoySunday is a brand of modern knitted luxury toys and soft products for the home, inspired by children's way of looking at the world. The brand's Danish designers Camilla Koerschen and Camilla Ebdrup, are highly creative textile designers with a background in fashion and the arts, and founded their studio in 2007. Their work magically blends the worlds of children and adults, celebrate the everyday life as well as the extraordinary and brings a poetic, artistic sensibility to both the living room and nursery. Their designs are full of creativity and is of a graphic, naive, colourful and dreamy nature, which makes LuckyBoySunday unique and recognizable. All products are manufactured in Bolivia of the softest alpaca wool, which is as soft and valuable as cashmere. They are knitted by talented women from poor communities, operating under fair trade principles and are well paid for their work. In this way LuckyBoySunday supports the poor population by giving them a good job, while the Bolivian knitters can realize their dreams. The name LuckyBoySunday comes from an old Danish proverb which reads: "If you were born on a Sunday, then you are a lucky one".
